Meet the Coach

After achieving my first pro card, I realized I had hit all of my original fitness goals. But I’m never satisfied with “good enough.” So I set a new goal: to grow, challenge myself further, and learn to coach myself through the process. I put that goal into action when I won Pro Angels at my first IPL show in South Hill, Virginia—proof that if I can do it, so can you.

By day, I’m a high school social studies teacher, a role that’s shaped my approach to coaching: patience, clear communication, and creating a space where learning and growth can happen at every stage.

Today, I coach women from all walks of life to build not just bodies, but boldness. Whether it’s your first show or your pro debut, I’ll guide you with heart, strategy, and a deep understanding of what it really takes to transform—from the inside out.

The stage is the celebration. The real work is becoming someone you’re proud of.

Adro Gainer

3-Federation Pro. Coach. Educator. Wellness Advocate.

I’m Adro—an IPL Pro, VIGOROUS Magazine cover athlete, and 3-federation pro who found bodybuilding not through perfection, but through pain, healing, and a wild amount of persistence.

I didn’t grow up around health and fitness. In fact, I grew up knowing nothing about it. Like so many women, I was conditioned to believe being thin was the goal—so I starved myself to stay lean for ballet, unaware of how my body actually worked. I was hypoglycemic, undernourished, and living off survival mode for years.

At 33, I got my first gym membership—and that changed everything. That same year, I stepped on stage for the first time, had a seizure, suffered a stroke, and was finally diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Eagle Syndrome, which causes severe migraines and a cluster of debilitating symptoms. The recommendation? Build muscle. Get stronger.

So I made fitness my mission. Bodybuilding didn’t just improve my health—it helped me reclaim my confidence, my voice, and my joy. I went from shy and anxious to someone who walks into a room and owns it—and now I help my clients do the same.
